always applied a serious level of caution when using the pullout awning on my pop top caravan. any unsocial winds would cause noises and shaking of the caravan. had been cautioned that sudden gusts could cause damage to caravan and/or awning. saw de flappers in action and was told by owner that other than storm gusts awning remained secure and quiet. this has been my own experience and did not hesitate to order a second pair for added security. very pleased. good product, user friendly and very practical. thank you.
