Why do you need these?
 

Using a shorter length wheel nut will result in wheels not having the proper amount of torque required to fasten the wheels to hub, causing unsafe conditions.

These are specific to these models to make sure that the stud does not bottom out on wheel nut backing, and allow correct torque to be applied to the wheels.
